The LISMAR LRI platform is an integrated part of the LRI-U system and displays internal cracks, mechanical and manufacturing defects, inclusions and debonding (in case of cast rolls) in the roll. Testing requires a coupling fluid.

LISMAR’s entire line of LRI systems have an improved probability of detection, have shorter inspection times, come with higher data presentation resolutions, can be quickly installed, are easier to calibrate, come with less parts, and can scan stored information more quickly.

The LRI-U system is typically combined with the LRI-E system to form the comprehensive LRI-EU system.
